237A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Eager Lad trained by A. Oliver was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined A. Oliver €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148 (xii)(b).

The Raceday Stewards reviewed where several horses broke awkwardly from the stalls. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Strikepoint, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Osterode, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered leaving the stalls.

237B Irish EBF Auction Series (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Starlit, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Diego Lima, rider of Ana Morello, concerning his use of the whip in the home straight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Diego Lima accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Diego Dias was in breach of R.10.3(g) (frequency)and R.10.3 (h)(arm above shoulder height) and in considering his record for R.10.3(g)(second offence), they suspended him for four racedays and R.10.3(h)(first offence), they suspended him for two racedays.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Tosca No Candis, trained by Robson De Aguiar, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned a little right a furlong down.

S. Foley, rider of Starlit, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left and the bit went through her mouth.

P. McGettigan, rider of Step In Style, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Black Forza (USA), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was inconvenienced by the kickback.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Strike De Vega (GB) trained by A. Oliver was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. The Raceday Stewards fined A. Oliver €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148 (xii)(b).

The Raceday Stewards interviewed T. Casey, rider of Trek Home, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. T. Casey stated that he broke well and felt he was clear of the horses inside him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards found T. Casy was in breach of R.211(a) and in considering his clean record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Emiza (FR), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that his mount was wearing a chifney bit for the first time, was very difficult in the early stages and he felt he had to try and get cover. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards accepted his explanation and took no further action.

P. McGettigan, rider of Trovao Dourado, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action one and a half furlongs from the finish.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Trovao Dourado, trained by Ciaran Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

237F Bar 1 Casino 'Slot Games' H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Queen Leila (GB), trained by Noel C. Kelly, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Never Mind Me (GB), trained by David Geraghty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Roman Harry, trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the home straight.

237G Irish Stallion Farms EBF Red God H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Star Harbour, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Nermal, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start where Star Harbours stall appeared to open slightly faster than the rest. Having considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Star Harbour had struck the stall after all the stalls had started to open and that no further action was warranted.

237H Friday Night Lights Return Weekly H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from A. Oliver, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Copper Craft, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Ballinrobe on July 20th. A. Oliver stated that his charge must have decent ground and was inconvenienced by the ground last time. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

P. McGettigan, rider of Rising Sky, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

R. Whearty, rider of Copper Craft, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran onto heels at the two furlong marker. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Coul Dore, trained by W.R. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.
